everlasting incorporates imagery of the Everlasting Tree wampum belt. On the belt, the triangles represent the Tree of Peace: the great white pine designated by the Peacemaker, under which the five founding nations of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy buried their weapons. The footage of the white pine in this installation was shot on the mountain of Montreal/Tioh'itá:ke.

everlasting incorpore l’image de la ceinture wampum de “l’Arbre qui durera pour toujours”. Les triangles tissés dans la ceinture représentent l’Arbre de la paix: le grand pin blanc qui a été désigné par "Celui qui a fait la paix". Les cinq nations fondatrices de la confédération Haudenosaunee y ont enterré leurs armes. La vidéo dans l'installation du pin blanc a été filmé sur la montagne à Montréal/Tioh'tiá:ke.
