Ciels racines [root skies] is a garden composed of 13 women, artists, authors, friends, mothers and daughters who were invited by the artist Anne-Marie Proulx. In it, the notion of garden becomes a place of friendships, of transmission and of rooting, an opportunity for the sharing of times and spaces, of forms and ideas. Anne-Marie Proulx would like to thank the Canada Council for the Arts for its support.

Body and Water explores the experience of moving through waterways, moving between land and water and the interconnected relationships we share with bodies of water. The original iteration was presented in 2021 after a year-long curatorial research project at Oxygen Art Centre in Nelson, B.C.

My installation, for those who never made it home is part of the exhibition Reclaiming & Making: Art, Desire, Violence at the Museum of Sex in New York City. The exhibition examines the relationship between sex and violence through the artworks of 14 women artists.

How Long Does it Take for One Voice to Reach Another? continues at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. This exhibition brings together many works from their permanent collection that address the ideas of love, loss, separation, reconciliation, resilience; and includes my blanket artwork “invaders”.

Ciels racines est un jardin composé par 13 femmes, artistes, autrices et amies à l’invitation de l’artiste Anne-Marie Proulx. Le jardin se présente comme un lieu d’amitiés, de transmission et d’enracinement, une occasion de partage de temps et d’espaces, de formes et d’idées. Anne-Marie Proulx remercie le Conseil des arts du Canada de son soutien.

Mon installation «pour celles qui ne sont jamais rentrées chez elles» fait partie de l’exposition collective Reclaiming and Making: Art, Desire and Violence à New York au Museum of Sex. Cette exposition regroupe 14 artistes femmes qui examinent la violence sexuelle et l’acte réparateur offert par l’art.
